Note from bARTer Sauce:

I should mention that I recently threatened Nik and told him that he had to start submitting great stories. He has a habit of just posting another picture of his item where the story should go and then writing a sentence. And frankly, I'd had enough. It was time for a change. Well Nik responded to my threat by saying that maybe he would "...write a story too good it can't be written, it'd put all the great writers look like half-witted stooges and the world's literary world would be erased but my great text.

When I lived in Cleveland I was called the Pee Wee of Horror by a tv horror host named Dr. Mor. B. S. I made this in honor of it.

Nik Trades me Drag Queen Clown for Picture of Amber

Crazy Nik Face
Amber Alert By Nicolas Caesar

Nik trades with me a couple of times a month at least so I'm not quite sure how many "interview" questions he has had to endure but I do know that I now have a lot of trouble coming up with good ones.

For this trade I made Nik think of five questions and answer them. I know, I'm surprised he even talks to me anymore.

Q. What are you working on now?

Drag Queen Clown

Nik's story that came with the Drag Queen Clown:

This Halloween my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. Years ago, for our wedding I rented out the Parkway theater in Oakland, CA and everyone came in costume. I dressed up as Beetlejuice and my wife was in a renaissance green dress. After the ceremony we screened Bride of Frankenstein and ate cakes that were in the shape of skulls.

Tara Trades Me Twisted Tree Tee for Two Headed Boy Painting

Tara and Rosalie makin' a bARTer Sauce trade

Tara and I often share a space at crafty events and the like so that she can sell shirts to everyone who walks by and Doug and I can sit there, surrounded by Shower Arts and be really supportive of her.

She designs fantastic shirts and screenprints them in her basement in her jammies.

Nik Trades me Tattooed Vintage Farting Duck for Two Red Screamers

Nik or Vanilla Ice?

Nik offered me this Vintage Farting Duck that was very cool in its own right but I asked him to tattoo it for me.

I'm glad I did. It was cool before but now it's freaking awesome. It also proves that I can make Nik do some things....maybe not anything...but at least some things.

Nik's Story that he submitted with "Robotic Bug":

I once dressed up as Mothra for a Godzilla film night at the Parkway Theater in Oakland. I couldn't see out of the tiny eyeholes in the suit and just sort of rolled around and stopped a lot. I was suppossed to spray silly string through the mouth hole but it clogged and backfired.

Two Headed Boy

Two Headed Boy by Nicolas Caesar

Nik traded me a long time ago for a drawing of Angry Naked Man.

Then, his friend Temple, traded me for some Time Machine Parts. They made the unprescendented move of trading those items with each other....so now Nik owns the Time Machine Parts and Temple owns Angry Naked Man. Genius. It just keeps going and going.

Nik Trades me Robotic Bug for Alien in Ship and Two Headed Boy Painting for Evil Looking Doll Lamp

Nik and PBS

Nik answered these "interview" questions even though I've asked him about 100 rounds of questions through all of our trades and these are very much the bottom of the barrel.
