During the December First Thursday Art Walk, I entered a raffle for this painting.
I won. I am a winner.
I have no story about this item. So instead, I will tell you a story from my childhood. A story about the first computer ever made. Or close to it.
When I was about eight, we got an Apple 2E "computer." Amazing, but it was more useless than the computer that started the whole bARTer Sauce project. I know!
Well, I used to try and play computer "games." Or what passed for them at the time. I had a hard time though as I tended to take everything very literally (still do to this day). For example, we had some kind of a golf game that I always wanted to try. I could never get it to work though because it would ask for your handicap upon loading. My brilliant eight year old brain thought that meant I should type in things like: broken leg, wheelchair, etc. And for some reason the game never accepted my answers.
Sigh.
Enjoy the story of my stupidity.
Don't worry dad, I left out the part of the story about how you used to have a computer game called "Suzy and Melissa Strip Poker" that was password protected. I won't tell a soul.
