Rubber Bat

Bryan's Story that came with Rubber Bat:

I was working as a custom leather fashion designer in Hollywood CA in 1999 at a place called S.K.K.I.N. We were doing up scale design for people like Insync, Lenny Kravitch and Madonna, not to mention a few other people. I had worked leather before so I was a shoe in and wanted an insider view of the fashion industry. After about a year of doing this I moved to Alaska for the summer to work as Exc. Chef aboard scientific research vessels in the Prince william Sound,

When I went home I decided to go VEGAN and to also find a different material that I could work the same as leather. Inner tubes are free and 100% recycled when made into other things! I do fashion, fetish, interior, exterior design with this material and it's lots of fun to work with.

I like puzzles and this material is curved in every way, so, design is a process. I use other 100% recycled material in my work such as copper tubing, spring steel "rattle snakes" this is material that is used to bind lumber and large boxes for shipping to make musical instruments. Recycled paper to make handmade cast paper vessels. Bike parts to make fashion and interior/exterior design and found objects for other works.

My designer name Pluto Krazo means crazy change. Pluto being the planet of change and Krazo being the greek word for crazy and is also Ozark spelled backwards, thats where I am from.
