Marlow and JoDavid came to the studio to see Michael Frank's (the Curator-in-Chief of The Museum of Bad Art) presentation on the guildelines MOBA uses to select the paintings for their permanent collection.

The best part of the evening for me was when Marlow submitted a painting to Michael Frank and when he accepted it -- saying that it would go in the permanent collection -- she started screaming, "It's going in the museum! It's going in the museum!" She was so very excited -- which rubbed off on everyone.

Soon, we were all screaming, "It's going in the museum! It's going in the museum!" until the ceiling caved in and we were all buried in a pile of rubble.

Part of that story never happened.

They have a couple of websites: - a blog that covers Seattle, Real Estate and Popular Culture - a blog about unusual homes, amazing architecture, strange places and fascinating people

You should check them out if you like weird stuffs and real estate. And honestly, how could you not?

They invited Michael and I to come over the next day and see their collection of paint by number paintings. It's quite a collection - covering one whole room of their house. Truely, their whole house is fantastic. It's filled with really interesting stuff and art and a few very nice children. They even have an Elvis topiary on their patio. Elvis. As moss. Yep, you heard me correctly.

In short, thank you Marlow and JoDavid. You're nice peoples.
