I did the trade with Martine for 3 Naval issue hats that she found on "Solid Waste Road" for one Day of the Dead Skeleton.
Quite honestly, she had me at solid waste, but I have no idea why. In fact, that's perhaps not a good way to lead my life.
Martine had to take the ferry over here to do the trade (well, hopefully, to do whatever she needed to do in Seattle and also do the trade). Our apartment overlooks The Sound, so I just watched for the ferry to be coming close and ran down to the terminal to do the trade with her. She brought me the best GIFT (please note future traders - gifts are completely acceptable)! It's a painting/etching she did of what she calls a Unicron - a five legged creature that looks kind of like a unicorn but actually is their arch nemesis. Sweet! I hate unicorns! But I love Martine! Now if only she would actually trade me art for bARTer Sauce instead of just giving it away!
